Tiny Art Show Canvas Pickup
Tuesday, September 2-Saturday, September 6, All Day
Make a tiny piece of art for our Tiny Art Show! Open to all ages and all mediums. The first 150 patrons to come by the library between 9/2 to 9/6 will receive a free 3×3 canvas to participate in this year’s Tiny Art Show!
Slice and Dice- A Pizza and Table Top Game Night
Tuesday, September 2, 6-8pm
Join Librarians Mary and Marie for Slice & Dice, our monthly pizza and table top game night for adults. Each month, we’ll kick off with a featured game, followed by open play where you can explore our game library or bring your own favorites to share with the group!
Pints + Pages
Thursday, September 4, 7pm
The group meets on the first Thursday of every other month. The book discussion will be hosted by librarians from the Wilmington and Tewksbury Public Libraries. This month’s book is: The Art Thief: A True Story of Love, Crime and a Dangerous Obsession by Michael Finkel.
Needleworkers
Friday, September 5, 10am-12pm
This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Costume Craze Collection Begins

Costume Craze is back! Donate new or lightly worn youth Halloween costumes to the library between 9/2-9/30! Come by on October 4 to find a new-to-you kids or teen costume (no donation required)!
Preschool Storytime

Join us at our Preschool Storytime! This program includes books, rhymes, music and movement. Ages 3-6
Mindful Movement
Tuesday, September 2, 4pm
Join library pals as we flow through children’s yoga poses, mindful movements, and read some books to help us grow in mindfulness and peace. Grades K-2
DnD 101 for Teens
Tuesday, September 2, 6pm
New players who wish to join our regular library campaign (or who just want to learn about the world’s most popular roleplaying game) should attend our 101 sessions, held monthly. Grades 6-12.

Playful Pathways: Parent Book Club (VIRTUAL)

This monthly book club will cover the 7 essential life skills featured in Ellen Galinsky’s book, The Mind in the Making. Because this event will be held via Zoom, children are welcome to be in attendance. Recommended for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5

Join author Sy Montgomery on Thursday, September 25th at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm) as she discusses her journey as an author. There will be a cash bar, book sales & an autograph signing! Sy Montgomery is best known for her books The Good, Good Pig and The Soul of an Octopus. Registration is now open! This is a free event, open to ages 9+, and is located at the Wilmington Senior Center.
Bake Sale at Book Store Next Door
Stop by for a delicious treat! The WML Teen Leadership Council will be holding a bake sale on August 20th, 12-2pm. The sale will be on the Book Store Next Door’s front lawn and proceeds will benefit the Book Store Next Door and the Friends of the Library. This is a weather permitting event.

Book Store Next Door
Regular hours are back at The Book Store Next Door! The bookstore is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
