WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, August 14, 2025:
A caller reported drug paraphernalia behind Market Basket, and possibly an abandoned camp. Police responded and did notice trace amounts of marijuana. (8:38am)
Police removed bat from a house on Marcus Road. (9:57am)
Keolis reported the gates on the Haverhill line on Salem Street were bouncing up and down. Keolis has a tech looking into it. (3:31pm)
A passerby reported 6-7 juveniles were riding their bikes down the middle of the road past Elia’s on Middlesex Avenue. When the caller asked them to move, they yelled at her. (3:44pm)
Police tried to locate 3 juveniles on dirt bikes on North Street. They were cutting through backyards and doing wheelies. One yard got torn up. Police deployed a drone, but could not locate the bikes. Police will ask for camera footage from nearby houses. (4:31pm)
A caller reported he found a quarter baggie of drugs in a sneaker box they purchased. (4:36pm)
