WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, August 8, 2025:
A walk-in party reported a past car accident at the Library. (11:21am)
A caller reported a just terminated employee is remaining on scene and acting weirdly. He was escorted out by staff and told them “you’ll see what happens.” Man left prior to police arrival. Police advised caller on how to secure a no trespass order. (11:30am)
A caller reported having two firearms at residence that belonged to a family member who recently passed away. Caller wanted to turn them in. Police retrieved the firearms. (1:41pm)
Police assisted in removing a bat from a house on Marcus Road. (1:53pm)
