OBITUARY: Charlotte A. Jensen, 87

Charlotte Minghella Jensen (Lavacchia), of Tewksbury and York, ME, formerly of Wilmington and Woburn, passed gently on Saturday, August 9, 2025, following several years of health challenges with Alzheimer’s and most recent medical complications.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 33 years David Jensen, her children Mark (Michelle) Minghella, DiAnne (Ric) Proctor, Doug Minghella, Dave Jensen Jr. (Deanna), Mike Jensen (Christina), and Tim Jensen. She was dearly loved by 12 grandchildren and their spouses as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Charlotte is predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary (Ray) Lavacchia, and her sister Mary Ann Foye. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Duke Foye as well as her extended family and friends.

Both Charlotte and Dave were from Woburn, MA and enjoyed nearly 30 years at their home in York, ME, a beautiful setting to share with family and dear friends.

We are grateful that our mom is now at peace.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA on Friday, August 15th from 4:00-6:45 p.m. followed by a Service to celebrate Charlotte’s life at 6:45 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada St. #201, Newton, MA 02460.
