The Art of the Duel: Swordfighting Demo & Class

Playful Pathways: Parent Book Club (VIRTUAL)

This monthly book club will cover the 7 essential life skills featured in Ellen Galinsky’s book, The Mind in the Making. Because this event will be held via Zoom, children are welcome to be in attendance. Recommended for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5
Manga Tryouts

Have a say in manga purchased for the teen collection with this club! During each meeting, we’ll sample 1st volumes of different manga and vote on whether it should be added to WML’s collection. Grades 6-12
Outdoor Drop-In Read to Stormy
Thursday, August 21, 4-5:30pm (15-minute sessions)
Come practice your reading skills with Therapy Dog, Stormy! In this special session, there are no registrations! Drop-in anytime between 4:00-5:30pm for a first-come, first-served time slot outside in the Peggy Kane Reading Garden. Grades K-6

Join author Sy Montgomery on Thursday, September 25th at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm) as she discusses her journey as an author. There will be a cash bar, book sales & an autograph signing! Sy Montgomery is best known for her books A Good, Good Pig and The Soul of an Octopus. Registration is now open! This is a free event, open to ages 9+, and is located at the Wilmington Senior Center.

Regular hours are back at The Book Store Next Door! The bookstore is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.
