Needleworkers at Night

These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in.

Cookin’ The Books- The Tea Party Edition

Join us for our Annual Cookin’ the Books Tea Party! This month we are featuring a tea party theme. There is no specific cookbook – It is up to you to bring whatever you would enjoy at a tea party!

Fun & Function of iPhone

Needleworkers

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft. Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy conversation and camaraderie. Drop-in.

Baby and Me Yoga

Looking for a way to incorporate yoga into your life with baby? Join YogaMoves for a Baby & Me Yoga class! Designed for parents/caregivers with pre-walking little ones. Newly postpartum parents are welcome once given the ok by their healthcare provider.

Bilingual Story Hour

Family Movie Matinee: Wreck-It Ralph

Wear your pjs and bring something comfy to sit on for this special library event! Watch featured movie, Wreck-It Ralph and enjoy delicious popcorn! All Ages

Family Craft Night: Sign Making
Wednesday, August 13, 6pm
Complete a craft together with your family! Paint your own personalized wooden sign to hang in your room. Make sure to select your image before the event on our website. Ages 5+

End of Summer Bash feat. Johnny the K
Thursday, August 14, 5:30pm
Join us on the Town Common to celebrate the end of another fun summer with library raffles, lawn games, live music for all ages with Johnny the K, and food trucks! All Ages

Paint Palooza
Saturday, August 16, 3pm
Join us for our messiest event of the year! We’ll have paper and canvases to paint on with brushes, rollers, spikey balls, loofas and more at this painting extravaganza! Babies through 5th Graders!

Mark your calendars!
Join author Sy Montgomery on Thursday, September 25th at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30pm) as she discusses her journey as an author. There will be a cash bar, book sales & an autograph signing! Sy Montgomery is best known for her books A Good, Good Pig and The Soul of an Octopus. Registration opens August 14th! This is a free event, open to ages 9+, and is located at the Wilmington Senior Center.

Did you know Wilmington Memorial Library circulates more than just books? Check out our Adult, Teen and Youth Library of Things for fun and useful items to take home. Book Store Next Door
Regular hours are back at The Book Store Next Door! The bookstore is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.

WML In-Person & Virtual Programming
