WILMINGTON, MA — Originally from Wilmington, MA, Jim spent many years in Mattapoisett, MA and Wareham, MA before passing away on June 26, 2025. Jim attended Austin Prep and Providence College.
Jim was well known for his culinary prowess and worked in the food industry for many years across New England. The happiest years of his life were spent working and skiing at Twin Mountain in NH. He loved camping, having spent a summer hiking the Appalachian Trail. Gardening and birding were among his passions; he was also known for his giant pumpkins. Later in life he was a Real Estate Agent and appraiser for the New Bedford Board of Realtors.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Patricia DuBois and infant brother, John. He is survived by his sisters Margaret Connors of Newton, NH, Mary Pat Anderson of Franklin, TN, and Theresa Gustus of Wayland, MA and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life is planned for September 24, 2025 from 5:00-7:00pm at Ken’s Steakhouse 95 Worcester Rd, Framingham, MA 01701.
