WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, August 2, 2025:
- Calling all dinosaur fans! Dinosaur Adventure will transform the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road, Wilmington) into a prehistoric exhibit featuring life-sized dinosaurs and dino-mite children’s activities this weekend. - The New England Woodcarvers is holding a special carving event from 9am to 4pm in the basement of St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Avenue). This event is open to the public. Attendees may come and go as they please. Bring $7 for a pizza lunch, or bring your own sack lunch. The event features carving projects for attendees with different skill levels. This month’s carving projects include Skating Mouse, Puppy Dog and Tree of Hope. Attendees may also bring their own projects to work on.
- The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Back to School with the Academy of Traditional Karate (11am) and Teen DnD (2pm).
- There is a yard sale from 8am to 2pm at 7 Marjorie Road. Learn more HERE.
- The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
- The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
- Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm
