Select Board Meeting (July 14, 2025)
The Wilmington Select Board met on July 14, 2025, to recognize local student Leah Price for her national SkillsUSA gold medal and to discuss a range of town matters. Topics included plans for this year’s Fall Fest beer and wine garden, preparations for National Night Out, updates on school building projects and town budget adjustments, and a review of a housing project on Cross Street. The Board also signed warrants for a special town meeting and a special election related to the new Wildwood Elementary School proposal. Residents spoke during public comment on a variety of local issues and concerns.
Building Reuse Committee Meeting (July 16, 2025)
In this pivotal meeting, the Building Reuse Committee ends their discussions about the former Buzzell Senior Center Building by taking a vote on what their recommendation for the building is. Now, the reuse committee’s recommendations will be taken into consideration by the Select Board in a future Select Board meeting where they will then decide what will be done with the building.
