WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, July 8, 2025:
- Police picked up a hypodermic needle found on Lowell Street. (9:03am)
- Police and Fire responded to a brush fire on Roosevelt Road. Parties told police 3-4 male juveniles were setting off fireworks and started the fire. Police were unable to locate juveniles. (4:35pm)
- Police restored the peace between two neighbors who were having a dispute over recent sealcoating work. (8:21pm)
- Police issued a citation to someone driving a scooter for operating the scooter with an invalid license, hours of operation violation, and failing to obey traffic laws. Plate was confiscated off of scooter. Friend with a truck picked up driver and scooter. (8:57pm)
