5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Saturday, July 12, 2025

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, July 12, 2025:

  • The Wilmington Public Schools Summer Theater Program presents Seussical  Jr. at 1pm in the Wilmington High School Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door for $5.
  • The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is hosting “Frontlines & Front Yards” from noon to 4pm. This special event will honor those who served in the military and on the Homefront during WWII and Korea. The afternoon will include a classic car show, a special exhibit, hands-on family-friendly activities, period music, historical reenactors, a WWII plane fly-over, and many other activities. The event is free. Refreshments will be offered.
  • The Wilmington Yardwaste Center on Old Main Street will be open from 9am to 4pm for the drop-off of leaves and brush. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Teen Pokemon Terrariums (2pm) and Teen DnD (2pm).
  • The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
  • The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
  • Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm
  • Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from 10am to 6pm. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Acceptable forms of ID include a current Mass. Driver’s License with a Wilmington address, an RMV  issued Mass. ID with a Wilmington addressor a Wilmington Public Schools ID. Non-residents can purchase day passes at the Beach for $10 per person (ages 3 and up).
