Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Memorial Library:
WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Fourth of July Committee and Wilmington Memorial Library would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire Wilmington community for making Wilmington Night—held on Wednesday, June 25th from 5–8 PM on the Town Common—a resounding success.
The evening brought out residents of all ages to celebrate community spirit with an exciting lineup of family-friendly fun. From the classic charm of lawn games and Plinko to the colorful creativity of face painting, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Attendees were also treated to delicious food, lively music, and engaging booths from local organizations.
One of the night’s biggest highlights was the dunk tank, which featured none other than Town Manager Eric Slagle alongside other brave and enthusiastic special guests. Their good-humored participation had the crowd cheering and laughing all evening long.
We’re grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate, and to the many volunteers, staff, and community partners who helped bring the event to life. Wilmington Night was a joyful kickoff to the town’s Fun on the Fourth festivities, and a reminder of what makes this community so special.
Thank you again, Wilmington—we can’t wait to see you at the next celebration!
