• The Red Cross is holding a Blood Drive from 9am to 2pm at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). Interested donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to book an appointment. Donors can also visit http://www.redcross.org to schedule an appointment.
• The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following events and activities: Hiking Group (9am); Gentle Yoga (9am); Weight Loss Support Group (9:30am); Art (9:45am); Meditation (10am); Knitting & Crocheting (10:30am); Cardio Drumming (1pm); Ceramics (1:30pm); and Functionally Fit (2pm). • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Outdoor Baby Time (10am); Family Movie: The Super Mario Bros. Movie (3pm), and Puzzle Race (6pm).
• Town Beach at Silver Lake is open from Saturday, June 14 through Sunday, August 10, 2025. Lifeguards are on duty every day from 10am to 6pm. The Bath House will be open when lifeguards are on duty. Wilmington residents with proof of residency may use the beach at no charge. Non-residents pay $10 per person (ages 3 and up) for day passes, which can be purchased at the Beach.
• TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered  (with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
