WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, June 20, 2025:
- Police responded to reports of 150+ car group on Industrial Way. Many of the vehicles fled onto 93 North and South. State Police and Woburn Police notified. (2:24am)
- A tree fell onto a vehicle on Burlington Avenue. Portion of the road was closed. Vehicle towed. (9:13am)
- A walk-in party brought in an injured squirrel. Animal Control Officer took possession. (10:58am)
- A tree struck a house on Brattle Street. Tree fell from Senior Center property. Police notified Tree Department. (1:20pm)
- Nikson Ferreira Gomes (28, Saugus) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. (4:08pm)
- Wilmington Police notified the State Fire Marshal after discovering truck and trailer full of fireworks on Industrial Way. State Police Bomb Squad responded. (6:27pm)
