  • Fun on the Fourth continues tonight at 5pm in the Town Common area with the Carnival; Hot Dog & Hamburger Dinner; Concert with Mischief Mile; Antique Car Show; and Firecracker 5K & Family Fun Run. Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following events and activities: Hiking Group (9am); Gentle Yoga (9am); Weight Loss Support Group (9:30am); Art (9:45am); Meditation (10am); Massage Sessions (10am); Knitting & Crocheting (10:30am); Cardio Drumming (1pm); Ceramics (1:30pm); and Functionally Fit (2pm).   • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Outdoor Baby Time (10am) and Manga Tryouts (3:30pm). Read To Stormy is full.
  • TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered  (with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
  • CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
