Wilmington Educational Foundation Awards 13 Educators With Technology Grants Totaling $10K

WILMINGTON, MA — At a recent meeting, the Wilmington School Committee accepted a donation of $10,521.87 from the Wilmington Educational Foundation (WEF) to fund 8 Technology Grants.

This year’s WEF Technology Grant recipients include:

  • $2,050 to Kim Provensal, Elementary Tech Integration Specialist for the District K-5, for a 12-pack of Ozobots.
  • $390 to Christine Bridges, Reading Specialist at Wildwood Early Childhood Center, for an iPad and necessary equipment/software.
  • $707.54 to Robyn Barry, Music Teacher at both North Intermediate School and Boutwell Early Childhood Center, for iPads in the classroom.
  • $508.97 to Sophie Bishop and Kayla Borrell, Physical Education teachers at the West Intermediate School, for Instant Replay: iPad and Software.
  • $1,074 to Michele Doucette, Amy Menezes, and Rosemary Tremblay, Reading Specialists at Shawsheen Elementary School, for Technology Integration for Reading Assessment.
  • $2,299 to Julie Kim and Marlene King, Science CTL, Chemistry and Physics teachers (as well as Robotics Team Mentors) at Wilmington High School for Bambu Labs H2D AMS Combo 3D Printer.
  • $2,264.86 to Ed Kaizer and Charles Ronchetti, STEM teachers at Wilmington Middle School, for Bambu Labs X1C Combo 3D Printer and Accessories.
  • $1,227.50 to Stacey Scott, Principal at Woburn Street School, for Pickup Patrol.
