WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Thursday, June 12, 2025:

  • The Wilmington Minutemen are hosting their annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at 6:30pm at their headquarters at the Harnden Tavern (430 Salem Street). The public is welcome to help properly retire unserviceable U.S. flags.
  • Wilmington residents are invited to the Tewksbury Community Market, from 4pm to 7pm, at Livingston Street Park (288 Livingston Street). More than 35 vendors will be on hand. See the list HERE.
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following events and activities: Hiking Group (9am); Gentle Yoga (9am); Weight Loss Support Group (9:30am); Art (9:45am); Meditation (10am); Massage Sessions (10am); Knitting & Crocheting (10:30am); Cardio Drumming (1pm); Ceramics (1:30pm); and Functionally Fit (2pm).   • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Playful Pathways: Garden Time (11am); Fun & Function of iPhone (2:30pm); Crafternoon (3:45pm); and History of the Beer Can: A Pop-Up Museum (6:30pm).
  • TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered  (with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
