OBITUARY: Allan D. Campbell, 85

WILMINGTON, MA — Allan David Campbell, “Al”, age 85, of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, after a long battle with dementia.

Al was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 16, 1939; he was the dear son of the late Gabriella (Kish) Cabana and David Campbell. Al’s family moved to Massachusetts shortly after his birth; they settled in Boston where he was raised and educated.

Al met “his sweetheart” Dolores Correiro when they were just teenagers and fell in love, they married in 1960. Al and Dolores moved to Wilmington soon after their wedding where they made a beautiful life together and raised a wonderful family.

Allan leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years Dolores (Correiro) Campbell, his children David Campbell, Scott Campbell and wife Sandra Campbell, and Lisa Stribley, his dear sister Cynthia Campbell and her husband Paul McGaffigan, his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Jennifer Payne, Ashlee Campbell, Tyler Stribley, Julia Stribley as well as 5 great grandchildren Adrianna, Lila, Saryn, Greyson and Hayven. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Al’s life on Saturday, June 7th at 3:00 p.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA, with a Service at 3:45 p.m.
