THIS WEEKEND: Wilmington Rotary Club To Host Annual Trivia Night On June 6

Below is a press release from Wilmington Rotary Club:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Rotary Club is hosting their Annual Trivia Night to benefit the Club’s Annual Scholarship on Friday June 6, 2025 at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall. Come and join us for this evening of fun, laughs, and some keen competition to find out which four-person team will come away victorious and leave the Hall with the Coveted Trophy.

Will the Drinking Team with a Triva Problem 3-peat? Maybe the Men (and Women) in Blue would like to mount a comeback! Masonic Boom is always competitive, and the Holy Terrors can never be counted out. Come on out and take the challenge! Friends, businesses, and Ringers are all welcome!

Tickets are available at $100.00 for a table of four…and all proceeds go to the Wilmington Rotary Scholarship Trust fund. Wilmington Rotary and their Members award an average of $25,000 a year to Wilmington residents who are graduating from High School. This Fundraiser along with our Annual Auction in November enables us to continue providing these generous scholarships to our well-deserving College-bound students.

Steve Bjork is again scheduled to be our Trivia Master of Ceremonies, so it is guaranteed to be a fun evening. . Town Moderator and Rotary Member Jonathan Eaton is compiling the series of 3 rounds of 25 questions each, which are being stored in a locked vault in the cellar of the new Wilmington Town Hall and School Administration Building. Don’t try it!

This is always a great evening of laughs and friendly competition. There will be a modified 50-50 raffle. Doors open at 6PM and the Trivia starts promptly “right about 7:00PM”. Cash bar and this is a BYOS event “Bring your own Snacks”. Pizza, appetizers, chips, treats, hummus, maybe Frango’s? … Bring it on and make the competition jealous!

For tickets, contact Greg Sadowski, 978-657-6167, George Hooper, 978-265-1232, Steve Peterson, 978-804-5439, Chris Neville, 978-479-1500, Mike Burns, 508-574-7897, Carolyn Bell, 978-657-6167, OR any Wilmington Rotary Club Member.
