WILMINGTON, MA — Regina M. (Quinlan) DeRosa, of Wilmington and formerly of Reading, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA, on May 31, 2025.
Regina was bon on September 25, 1961, in Winchester, MA; she was the dear daughter of the late John and Delia (Thompson) Quinlan. Regina was raised and educated in Reading, MA, and a graduate of Reading High School with the class of 1979. Regina went on to continue her education at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA, and graduated with her degree in 1983.
Regina was the much beloved mother of Justin DeRosa and his wife Sharon of Colorado Springs, CO, Mark DeRosa of Wilmington, MA, and the late James DeRosa. Regina was the cherished partner of Barry Power, of Woburn, MA, and loving sister of Barbara Quinlan of Beverly, MA, Marjorie Quinlan and Kathleen Quinlan both of Reading, MA, and the late Mary Quinlan. She will also be sorely missed by her many close friends and neighbors.
Regina was employed at Mahoney’s Garden Center in Tewksbury, MA, where she expressed her creativity through her love of flowers. She was most recently employed as a pharmacy technician at CVS in Woburn, MA.
Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours on Tuesday, June 3rd from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA. Regina’s Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 4th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA. Interment will be held in Forest Hills Cemetery, Lynnfield, MA, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Regina’s memory may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
