- The Massachusetts Bridal & Wedding Expo is coming to the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) from 1pm to 5pm.The event features more than 100 exhibitors, covering all aspects of a wedding — gowns, florists, hair & makeup, honeymoon destinations, wedding and event planners, guest accommodations & hotels, photographers, videographers, DJs, bands, photo booths, decor & lighting, reception & wedding venues, tuxedos, jewelry and more. - DEADLINE: June 1 at midnight is the deadline to order a rain barrel via Wilmington DPW for a discounted price of $99. Learn more HERE.
- The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
- TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
- RAFFLE FUNDRAISER: The Wilmington Fourth of July Committee is holding raffle to help support the fireworks displays during its 2025 celebration. Tickets cost $50. Only 350 tickets will be sold. The top prize is $1,500, with 10 $500 additional prizes. The drawing will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Reach out to a committee member or email fofcommittee@gmail.com to purchase a ticket. The Fun on the Fourth Celebration is privately funded with generous support of businesses and residents.
