WILMINGTON, MA — Sean L. Sullivan, 58 of Wilmington, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on May 10,2025. He was born in Lowell, MA on April 16, 1967. Sean was enrolled in Wilmington school systems. He obtained an associate degree in Sociology at a local community college. Sean was always known for swinging wrenches any chance he got. He was the one everyone called when they needed their cars repaired. Sean was always willing to lend a helpful hand to those in need. If he was not getting his hands greasy, he could be found enjoying a cold adult beverage. His quick wit and sarcasm could be matched by no other. Sean was very proud of his Irish heritage, including his scaly cap and his love of GREEN.
Beloved son of Diane K. (Keating) Sullivan, and Late Timothy J. Sullivan. Cherished Father of Shavon Sullivan Bettencourt and her husband Jordan Bettencourt of Lowell MA, Sean Sullivan of Lowell, MA, Courtney Sullivan and her fiancé Aaron Devescovi of Shirley, MA. Loving brother of Dawn Sullivan of Woburn MA, Steven Sullivan and his wife Denise Sullivan of Hudson NH, Timothy Sullivan of Franklin NH, Kathleen Sullivan Canada and her husband Kier Canada of Palm bay FL, Megan Sullivan of Palm bay FL. Adventurous grandfather of Amelia Devescovi and Vincent Devescovi of Shirley MA, Valentina Bettencourt, Enzo Bettencourt and Jonah Bettencourt of Lowell, MA.Also survived by his aunt Maryann Carcione, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ethel and Bernard Keating, his brothers, Michael and Brian Sullivan, his uncle Phillip Carcione, his stepson William Thomas Nickerson and his two grandsons, William Thomas Goulart and Matteo John Devescovi.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
