TEWKSBURY, MA — In honor of Memorial Day this weekend, Strongwater Farm Therapeutic Equestrian Center is excited to announce a new 90-minute weekly program “Stronger Together,” created especially for First Responders, Veterans, and their families.
The program will be held on Fridays from 10 am to 11:30am, starting May 30, 2025 thru July 11, 2025. (Except July 4th).
Join Stormwater for a unique family-oriented program designed to bring first responders, veterans, and their loved ones closer together through horsemanship in a safe, nurturing environment. At their peaceful equine facility, families will work hands-on with our gentle horses, fostering confidence, communication, and meaningful connections—both with the horses and with each other.
The sessions will be led by a husband and wife team who have experience working with this specific population.
Program Highlights:
- Open to First Responders, Veterans, and / or their family members
- You may attend once or as many times as you wish, at no charge.
- 90-minute sessions each Friday morning
- Focused on horsemanship skills, teamwork, and wellness
- No prior horse experience needed
- This is an unmounted program (no riding)
- Individual participants are welcome
- Offered at no cost to participants
This program is more than just time with horses—it’s a chance for families to strengthen their bonds, build resilience together, and create lasting memories within a supportive, like-minded community.
Those interested are encouraged to sign up by noon on Thursday for the Friday 10am – 11:30am program each week.
