SAUGUS, MA — Arthur P. Trepaney, age 88, beloved husband of Susan J. (Pepi) Trepaney passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10th at the Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Saugus, MA with his family at his side.
Arthur was born in Medford, MA, February 26, 1937, to the late Archibald and Mary C. (Miller) Trepaney. He was raised in Medford, MA before moving to Billerica, MA in the 1960s. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
Arthur was employed as a manager for Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington, MA for many years prior to his retirement and he enjoyed working for the Shapiro Family ownership group.
He is survived by his children: Paul Trepaney and his wife Kelly of Merrimack, NH; David Trepaney and his wife Carol of Amherst, NH; Cathy Odlum and her husband Bill of Ayer, MA; Debbie Trepaney of Bulverde, TX; stepchildren Steven Howard and his wife Anna of Portsmouth, NH; and Donna Leavitt and her husband Ken of Sugar Hill, NH. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his brother Paul Trepaney and his wife Kay of West Chester, Ohio. Arthur was predeceased by his wife Gail (Robinson) Trepaney and his sisters, Irene Goldie, Anne Gibbons, and Rita O’Sullivan.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 14th at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, MA from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica, MA at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Arthur’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
