WILMINGTON, MA — Residents are invited to participate in Memorial Day observances commencing on Saturday, May 24, 2025 beginning at 8am with the decoration of veterans’ graves at Wildwood Cemetery followed by the decoration of all squares and memorials.
On Sunday, May 25, 2025, rededication ceremonies will take place at the Police Memorial at the Police Station (1pm); St. Thomas’s Memorial Shrine (1:15pm); and the Veterans’ Monument on the Town Common (1:30pm).
The Veterans’ Services Department is pleased to announce that Wilmington’s Memorial Day Parade will be on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 10am. At 11am, a ceremony will be held at the Wildwood Cemetery to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Residents are encouraged to participate in Memorial Day events and remember all those who have served, and those who have given their life, to defend our freedom.
