WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Recreation Department has an exciting lineup of Concerts on the Common this July. Concerts take place on Wednesday nights, from 6:30pm to 8pm, on the Town Common.
Bring a chair or a blanket, and relax to the sweet sounds of summer.
Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 6:30pm-8pm: The Reminisants have been delighting audiences of all ages throughout New England since 1973. The band specializes in Classic Hits and Golden Oldies from the ‘50s through the ‘70s, playing a collection of great music appealing to all kinds of musical tastes and generations.
Wednesday, July 16, 2025, 6:30pm-8pm: The Rico Barr Band is New England’s Premier Swing and Party Band. Although they were nominated as Swing Band of The Year by the National Swing Awards, their repertoire includes much more. They perform selections from the Jazz and Rock decades including Motown and R&B.
Wednesday, July 23, 2025, 6:30pm-8pm: Southern Rail’s bluegrass is high octane exuberant fun with stunning harmonies, irrepressible good humor and sparkling banjo, guitar and mandolin. Their repertoire is fresh and diverse, featuring lots of originals plus a kaleidoscope of covers (Paul Simon, Crosby Stills and Nash, Mavis Staples, and Earl Scruggs).
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 6:30pm-8pm: Ball in the House is a cappella at its best! As the Boston Globe put it, “Ball in the House has everything you would expect to find in a successful pop/rock band… the one thing it doesn’t have is instruments.”
