WILMINGTON, MA — Joseph A. Tiberi, of Wilmington, formerly of Somerville, passed away peacefully on 4/20/2025.
Beloved husband of the late Donna M. (Frasso) Tiberi. Loving son of the late Floresta and Baldino Tiberi. Devoted father of Christopher Tiberi and his wife Richelle of Billerica, MA and Michelle Grigg and husband James of Derry, NH. Loving papa to Madelyn, Michael, and Kaitlyn. Dear brother of Peter Tiberi and his wife Solange of Deerfield Beach, FL, Maria Grasso and her husband Salvatore of Port St. Lucie FL, and the late Domenic Tiberi. Cherished brother in-law of Cathy Frasso and the late Anthony Frasso. Beloved son in-law of the late Ferdinand and Pasqualina Frasso.
Joseph was born in Introdacqua, Italy on February 6, 1948 and came to this country at the age of eight. He met the love of his life at the age of 22 and married her 4 years later. They were married for 48 beautiful years.
Joseph was a hardworking dedicated father first and foremost. He treasured his family and embraced every moment with them. He especially loved his role as Papa. Joseph worked at Fenway Park and the Boston Garden for many years before retiring with John Hancock after 30 years. He enjoyed watching sports, cooking, and working in his garden. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed going up to Lake Winnipesaukee every summer. Joseph is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 30th from 10am-1pm. Immediatley followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 1pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460 or at alz.org.
