WILMINGTON, MA — Nancy R. (Pizzano) Gately, age 68, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025.

Nancy was born in Woburn, MA, on June 29, 1956; she was the cherished only daughter of the late James A. and Mabel E. (Pedersen) Pizzano. Nancy is survived by her beloved children Donald Pappalardo and his wife Jacqui of North Billerica, MA, Kim Patnaude and companion Jeff of Amesbury, MA, and Michael Wollinger of Nashua, NH. She was the loving Nana of Nikki Pappalardo, the late Kylie Bergstrom, and Joseph Patnaude. Dear sister of Robert Pizzano and his wife Joanne of Millbury, MA, James Pizzano Jr. and his wife Pat of New Hampshire, and the late Thomas Pizzano of Florida. Nancy is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their families.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a Service to Celebrate Nancy’s life on Saturday, May 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA.
