Wilmington Select Board Meeting: April 14, 2025

In this very special select board meeting, chairman of the board, Greg Bendel, leads his final meeting as a member after 9 years of service to the town. Bendel’s family and the rest of the board celebrate his time and dedication. In addition to this, the board conducts other business such as loaning the town common out to the library and school, and other matters.

Wildcats Play with Pride in Military Appreciation Night Against Stoneham

On April 17, 2025, the Wilmington High School boys varsity lacrosse team hosted Stoneham High School in a special Military Appreciation Game. The Wildcats donned red, white, and blue jerseys to honor current and retired military personnel, with a pre-game ceremony recognizing their service. Despite a strong start, Wilmington narrowly fell to Stoneham with a final score of 8-9. The event highlighted the community’s respect for the armed forces and the team’s commitment to honoring those who serve.
