WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Friends & Family CPR Class on Wednesday, June 18th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Wilmington Public Safety Building.
This one-day course is designed to teach the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and how to assist a choking adult, child, or infant. The Friends & Family CPR program is intended for individuals who want to learn CPR but do not need a certification card for employment or licensing purposes.
This class is ideal for:
- New parents and grandparents
- Students and school staff
- Babysitters
- Anyone interested in learning how to respond in an emergency
The class is open to Wilmington residents and those who work in Wilmington who are age 12 or older.
Please note: This is not a certification class. Participants will not receive a course completion card. Anyone in need of CPR certification or recertification for work or licensure should visit the following resources to find an appropriate course:
