Dear Editor and Wilmington Residents,
I am writing to express my sincere and wholehearted endorsement of Jesse Fennelly and Stephen Turner for the Wilmington School Committee. Both individuals have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting our schools, students, educators, and the broader Wilmington community. They are thoughtful, forward-thinking leaders who truly value public service.
Jesse and Stephen have shown time and again that they are advocates for educational excellence and the well-being of all students. Their dedication is reflected in their active participation in school initiatives, their support for educational funding, and their willingness to listen to the concerns of parents, teachers, and students alike. As a parent, educator, and engaged community member, I appreciate their balanced and compassionate approach to decision-making.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing both Jesse and Stephen at work—whether it’s attending school events, engaging with families, or contributing meaningfully to key district initiatives. Most recently, they played active roles in the interim superintendent search process, ensuring that the selection was thoughtful, transparent, and focused on strong leadership for our students and staff. Their involvement in the Wildwood Building Project has shown their commitment to providing safe, modern learning environments that meet the needs of today’s learners and tomorrow’s community. They have also contributed to ongoing policy revisions, working to ensure our district’s guidelines reflect best practices and the evolving needs of our schools. Additionally, during the annual budget adoption process, Jesse and Stephen demonstrated a deep understanding of educational priorities and fiscal responsibility, advocating for a budget that supports academic excellence while being mindful of the town’s resources. Their steady leadership and collaborative approach continue to make a positive impact on the direction of our schools.
Their commitment to our town extends beyond the schools—they are visible, engaged, and invested in making Wilmington the best it can be for every resident. It’s rare to find individuals so devoted to the betterment of their community, and I’m grateful they are willing to take on this important role.
Please join me in voting for Jesse Fennelly and Stephen Turner for the Wilmington School Committee on April 26th.
Very truly yours,
Jennifer Bryson
