WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Thursday, April 17, 2025:

  • Wilmington Community Television and Wilmington Apple are hosting debates for this year’s School Committee candidates (6:30pm-7:30pm) and Select Board candidates (7:45pm-8:45pm). Watch live on WCTV and wctv.org.
  • The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following events and activities: Hiking Group (9am); Gentle Yoga (9am); Weight Loss Support Group (9:30am); Art (9:45am); Knitting & Crocheting (10:30am); Ceramics (1:30pm); and Functionally Fit (2pm). Learn more HERE.
  • The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Playful Pathways: Tools for Learning (11am); Manga Tryouts (3pm); and Novel Ideas (7pm).
  • TAKE THIS SURVEY: The Wilmington Conservation Commission is discussing the potential for a local wetland bylaw and wants resident feedback. Take their short online survey HERE.
  • TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected.  WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
