To the Wilmington Community,
I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for the Wilmington Select Board.
Wilmington has always been my home. As a lifelong resident, I’ve had the privilege of growing up in this incredible town, and today, I’m just as proud to be raising my own family here. When my wife Jennifer and I got married, the decision was simple — we chose to continue to build our life in Wilmington. Nearly 30 years later, we remain firmly rooted in this community, celebrating its traditions, cherishing its people, and calling it home with deep pride.
I was part of Wilmington’s very first public kindergarten class back in 1973 and thrived in our schools, both academically and on the ice. Later, I had the honor of serving Wilmington through the Department of Public Works for over 20 years, and for a decade, I represented my fellow employees as President of the AFSCME Union. These roles allowed me to work closely with so many dedicated individuals who care deeply about the future of our town.
Even in retirement, my commitment to Wilmington has only grown stronger. I continue to give back as a hockey coach, leading the Shawsheen Tech-Bedford-Lowell Girls Varsity team, helping to shape and support the next generation of our community’s leaders. I believe deeply that our future lies in our children — and now, more than ever, we must invest in them.
With this candidacy, I see an opportunity to continue serving Wilmington in a new and meaningful way. I want to be a voice for our community, representing the people of our great town with honesty, respect, and dedication. I believe in thoughtful growth, ensuring Wilmington continues to advance while preserving the close-knit, family-focused culture that makes it such a special place. I believe in family, in our youth, and in a community that listens to its members, supports one another, and works together to create a safe and healthy place to live.
I am excited about the future of Wilmington, and with the election coming up on April 26th, I would be honored to have your support on this journey. Together, let’s continue to make Wilmington a town we’re proud to call home — for generations to come.
