Below is a press release from the Wilmington Planning & Conservation Department:
WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Conservation Commission is discussing the potential for a local wetland bylaw for the Town. Local wetland bylaws are a tool used by neighboring towns to regulate and protect wetland resource areas, some of which are not protected by state or federal regulations.
The Commission is looking for resident feedback on wetland topics and a potential local bylaw through an online survey. The survey link can be found on the Town’s website and can be accessed here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WilmingtonWetlandSurvey
Paper copies of the survey are available at the Wilmington Memorial Library and upon request at the Department of Planning & Conservation. The survey will run through April 25, 2025. Residents of every age are encouraged to take the survey.
If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Planning & Conservation at 978-658-8238.
