Dear Wilmington Residents,
I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Wilmington Select Board.
When my wife and I moved to Wilmington in 2011, we quickly realized this was a town where community matters and those who moved away often returned to raise their families. After 14 years, three daughters, and a move within town, we are happy to call Wilmington our forever home.
Last year, I made the decision to join the Economic Development Committee. While I have enjoyed my time on the committee, the Select Board presents an opportunity for me to make a greater impact. I am running to help make Wilmington the best possible place for all residents and families.
Having spent my entire career in corporate finance, I am not a politician. With my background in financial analysis, budgeting, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and risk management, I have the necessary skills to make a meaningful contribution to the community.
My decision-making is based on objectivity, and I rely on data and analysis to guide my choices. I am confident that these skills, along with wanting what is best for our town, will make me a valuable asset to the select board and the residents we serve.
Thank you for your time and consideration. You can learn more about me and my campaign by visiting my Facebook page – Jacob Gearwar for Wilmington Select Board.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet as many of you as possible before Election Day. With the election coming up on April 26th, I am asking you to consider supporting me with your vote.
Sincerely,
Jacob Gearwar
