Dr. Emily Weinstein and Dr. Carrie James, co-founders of the Center for Digital Thriving at Harvard Graduate School of Education and authors of the impactful book, Behind Their Screens, will join us virtually to share surprising insights from their latest research about teens and technology.

Wilmington Memorial Library will be closed from 9am to 11am for staff training on Friday, March 28th. The library will be open from 11am to 5pm that day.

Join us for the Annual Friends of WML Jewelry Sale!
The Friends of WML’s Donated Jewelry Sale is back for 2025! This year’s sale will be Friday, April 4th from 5-8pm and Saturday, April 5th from 9am-2pm. The Friends will be selling fine and fashion jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, pins, rings, men’s & kid’s jewelry, and more! Please note: Friday will have timed tickets. Wilmington Memorial Library is hosting best-selling novelist Chris Bohjalian whose newest book The Jackal’s Mistress comes out in March! This first event in our new offsite author series will feature a presentation by Mr. Bohjalian, book sales/signing, a cash bar, and light refreshments. Registration begins in late March.

Regular hours are back at The Book Store Next Door! The bookstore is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am-4pm.

WML’s Annual Poetry Contest is back for 2025! This year’s theme is Verse vs. Verse–it’s all about play and gaming! Submissions will be open until Wednesday, April 30th, and the contest is open to all ages. For more information, visit wilmlibrary.org/poetry-contest-2025.
