Grand Opening: Wilmington’s New Senior Center!

Wilmington’s brand new senior center opened on Friday, February 14, 2025. WCTV was “live” at this event and captured the exciting ceremony, which included speeches and entertainment!

Finance Committee Meeting (February 25, 2025)

In this Finance Committee meeting, the town’s Information Technology Director outlined budget increases for IT staffing and software implementation. The discussion also covered upgrades to police cruiser computers, cybersecurity initiatives and data storage expansions. The Town Clerk’s office requested additional staffing due to the increasing demands of elections, conflict of interest compliance and digitization of records. The Historical Commission reported progress on museum renovations, including window restorations and roofing projects, while also advocating for a demolition delay bylaw to preserve historic homes in Wilmington.
