Enrollment Now Open For ‘Summer At Shawsheen’ Program

BILLERICA, MA — Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is excited to announce that enrollment is now open for the greatly anticipated 2025 “Summer at Shawsheen” program! Designed to offer an engaging and affordable summer experience, this program provides a wide variety of opportunities for local youth, ranging in age from 7 to 18. Over the course of four weeks, participants can choose from more than 25 diverse offerings tailored to different interests and skill levels.

Each summer, “Summer at Shawsheen” attracts students eager to explore new interests, develop valuable skills, and experience life at Shawsheen in a fun and supportive environment. Led by expert instructors, including Shawsheen’s esteemed educators, coaches, and industry professionals, the program features an exciting mix of sports clinics, vocational-technical workshops, academic courses, and enrichment programs.

New this year, students can dive into fresh offerings such as Introduction to Cosmetology, a Beginner Crochet Clinic, Introduction to Design & Visual Communications, and Video Game Development.

Returning favorites include Introduction to Programming & Web Design, Adventure Club, Cupcake & Cookie Design, the Summer Drama Program, and the ever-popular College Application/Essay Prep course. For young athletes, sports clinics such as Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Cheering, and Volleyball will once again be available.

Following last summer’s record-breaking attendance, this year’s programs are expected to fill up quickly. Families are encouraged to register early to secure a spot in their preferred courses.
