Wilmington Rotary Club Spotlights Middlesex County Veterans Treatment Court

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Rotary Club:

WILMINGTON, MA — On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the Wilmington Rotary Club was visited by the following Middlesex County Veterans Treatment Court team members: District Court Judge Michael Fabbri, Probation Officer Brian Torpey, Court Coordinator Jennifer McCarthey, Smart Recovery Coach and Mentor Paul Carew, Donald Purington of the Veteran’s Services Executive Office, Wilmington’s Veteran Agent Lou Cimaglia, and Kimberly Peterson, Esq., who donates her time as a volunteer attorney.

The Middlesex Veterans Treatment Court helps veterans who have committed minor criminal offenses by providing legal help and access to needed services. The VTC takes into account that these individuals have served our country and deserve support as they transition home.

Rotary members enjoyed learning about this valuable program and contributed $250 in gift cards to help incentivize veteran participation.
