WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, February 1, 2025:
- The Wilmington Middle School Drama Club is excited to present Disney’s “Descendants: The Musical” on Thursday, January 30, 2025 and Friday, January 31, 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 4 PM at the Joanne M. Benton Auditorium at Wilmington High School (159 Church Street). This show is fun for the whole family, and runs for about 90 minutes, not including intermission. Tickets are $15/adults, $10/students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased HERE. Sellouts are expected, so act fast!
- The Wilmington Boosters Association is hosting The Flying Ivories — two performers on dueling pianos deliver an all-request rock & roll sing-along at 7pm at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall. - The New England Woodcarvers is holding a special carving event, from 9am to 4pm, in the basement of St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Avenue). This event is open to the public. Attendees may come and go as they please. Bring $7 for a pizza lunch, or bring your own sack lunch. The event features carving projects for attendees with different skill levels. This month’s carving projects include rubber ducks, New Years top hat, and Tree of Hope. Attendees may also bring their own projects to work on. Learn more HERE.
- The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events & activities: VIRTUAL Fiction Critique Group (9:15am); Take Your Child to the Library Drop-In Storytime (10am); and Project Valentine with Junior WOW (1pm-3pm).
- The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
