Below is an obituary from Nichols Funeral Home:

WILMINGTON, MA — Cecilia F. Miller (Grassia), fondly known as “Ce” to her family and friends, a long-time resident of Wilmington passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, surrounded by family; she was 88 years old.

Ce was born on July 18, 1936, in Somerville, MA; she was the cherished daughter of the late Angelo and Thelma (Blythe) Grassia. As a young girl, Ce, was raised in Somerville and attended Somerville Schools before moving to Wilmington as a teenager. Ce went on to graduate from Wilmington High School with the Class of 1953.

Ce married the love of her life, Frederick Miller on May 23, 1956; the couple made their home in Wilmington where they raised their family. Ce was very devoted to her family; she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; she loved spending time at her home and her door was always open to family and friends. Ce also enjoyed heading to their family cottage at the beach in Winthrop when her children were small. Ce attended countless school and sporting events throughout the years; she was always there to “root on” her children especially her son Freddie as he participated in the yearly Special Olympics. Ce was very proud of her family and their accomplishments; she looked forward to family holidays and special events and she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Ce had many hobbies; she enjoyed crocheting, playing weekly bingo, dancing; she was proud of taking “Fred Astaire” dance lessons, and going to the movies. She looked forward to her weekly bowling league where she made many friends and loved to socialize.

Ce would often be found cruising around in her convertible with her beloved Fred at her side; the couple were inseparable and shared many wonderful times together before his untimely death.

In her later years, Ce would often be found with her friends fondly known as the “widows club” heading out for their weekly lunch or coffee at Donna’s Donut Shop.

Ce was a hard worker throughout her life; prior to retiring she worked for the Wilmington Public Schools as a custodian. Ce had a great rapport with her co-workers, the faculty and the students; she went out of her way to help anyone in need and never expected anything in return.

Ce will be fondly remembered as a wonderful lady; she loved her family and friends with all her heart, and she will forever be missed.

Ce was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Miller, devoted mother of Cherylann Pucillo and her husband Mark of Chester, NH, Karl Miller of Londonderry, NH, Meg Nicoli and her husband Jim of Methuen, the late Glen Miller, and the late Freddie Miller.
