Below is an announcement from the Parish of the Transfiguration:
WILMINGTON, MA — The Parish of Transfiguration’s Charities Committee will be collecting warm clothing for St. Francis House, the largest day shelter in Massachusetts and located in downtown Boston. They serve men and women every day, 365 days per year to meet their basic needs.
This collection is being held in memory of Mary Boylen, a cherished member of our Charities Committee who passed away recently. The St. Francis House collection was one of Mary’s favorite collections.
Donations may be left at the entrances of both churches (St. Thomas & St. Dorothy’s) during all Masses on Saturday, January 25, 2025 and Sunday, January 26, 2025. Please help The Charities Committee by donating to those in need.
