WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for December 17, 2024

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, December 17, 2024:
  • A resident reported drivers do not yield for pedestrians in the crosswalk at Concord Street and Woburn Street. (8:40am)
  • Daniel Hilson Robinson (64, Lowell) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (Subsequent Offense); Leaving Scene Of Property Damage; Using Motor Vehicle Without Authority; and Possession of a Class E Drug. Robinson struck a pole on Chestnut Street and reportedly walked away from the scene. (9:27am)
  • A resident at Willowbrook Rehab on West Street reported he believes he had approximately 9 boxes stolen over the past few days. Police responded and spoke with staff. The facility was holding the boxes; none were stolen. (2:52pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a small electrical fire at Savers. (6:07pm)
  • A caller reported a machine is still possibly running in the Town Hall construction site. Police responded and confirmed. Police notified responsible party, who responded. Machine was a heater for the concrete. Party said it may have to be left on in the future due to the weather. (7:19pm)
