LIBRARY NEWS: Lego Building On January 3; Display Your Artwork At WML

Below is a list of upcoming events from the Wilmington Memorial Library:

The library will be closing early on Tuesday, December 31st at 5pm and will remain closed on Wednesday, January 1st in observance of New Years.

Adult Programs

Needleworkers at Night
Monday, December 30, 6pm
These nighttime sessions are perfect for anyone who does any kind of needle craft but can’t make it to Needleworkers during the day! Drop-in. Now meeting every Monday in the cozy seating area on the first floor of the Library.

Drop-in Tech Help
Tuesday, December 31, 2pm
Saturday, January 4, 2pm

Youth Programs

STEAM Team
Monday, December 30, 6pm
Learn and have fun at the same time in this engaging STEAM program! Grades K-5

LEGO Building
Friday, January 3, 3:45pm
Build with LEGOs at the same time as other LEGO fans and display what you make in the library! Grades K-5

Additional Information

Book Store Next Door
The Book Store Next Door will be open only on Saturdays from 10am – 4pm in January and February. Wednesday hours will begin again on March 5th. Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2. The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.

Museum Passes
The library has discounted passes to your favorite Massachusetts museums, attractions, and state parks. Find the full list by visiting wilmlibrary.org/services/mp

WML In-Person Programming
Registration is required for most in-person programs. Please check our website on the day of the program to confirm location. Masks are no longer required for vaccinated patrons while visiting the library.

WML Virtual Programming
The library continues to offer a variety of virtual events. Please note that registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. Go to wilmlibrary.org to register or call 978-658-2967.

Display Your Artwork at the Library!
Call for artwork! Did you know the Wilmington Memorial Library allows professional artists to exhibit their work in the library’s Stewart Room? Interested artists can apply to exhibit their work by visiting https://bit.ly/wmlart.

LEGOBuilding

Register now for LEGO Building on Friday, January 3rd at 3:45pm! Students in grades K-5 are welcome to build with LEGOs at the same time as other LEGO fans and display what they make in the library!
