WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for December 9, 2024: Report Of Train Going Through Crossing With Gates Up On Concord St.

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, December 9, 2024:
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Salem Street. Response was delayed by train crossing. Traffic re-routed. One vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (7:47am)
  • A third party caller stated his wife reported the train crossing gates on Concord Street went down without train going through, then went back up and cars started to go, and then the train went through with gates up. Caller reported this occurred 5-10 minutes prior to call. Police responded. Keolis was notified. (9:12am)
  • A caller reported parties were accidently let into the North Intermediate School to use the bathroom by faculty and then were asked to leave. When asked to leave, they urinated outdoors on the property in front of other parties. They were also smoking on school property. They arrived in a gray minivan with a Quebec license plate. Described as a Hispanic male in his 50’s or 60’s, with a female and child. Police were unable to locate. (4:00pm)
