- The Wilmington-based Sole Sisters Running Club is holding its 7th Annual Winter SOLEstice 5K at 10am, beginning on the Wilmington Town Common (142 Middlesex Avenue). Residents are encouraged to participate. Register in advance HERE. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 finishers (male, female and non-binary) as well as top female and male age winners. - The Parish of the Transfiguration is conducting a Christmas Food Drive to help families in need within the St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s parish. Donations can be left inside the entrances of both St. Thomas and St. Dorothy’s prior to the masses on December 14, 2024 and December 15, 2024. Grocery store gift cards in any denomination are needed for each dinner basket and would be much appreciated.
- The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events & activities: Gingerbread Cookie Decorating with Junior WOW (1pm).
- The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
- Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
- The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal, which travels through Wilmington.
