- We’re One Wilmington’s (WOW) Festival of Trees is back for its 14th year at Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Ave) on Friday, December 6, 2024, 9am to 9pm; Saturday, December 7, 2024, 9am to 9pm; and Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 9am to noon. Learn more HERE.
- The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Needleworkers (10am); Drop-In Storytime (10:30am); and LEGO Building (3:45pm).
- The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding the following activities: Zumba (9am); Sewing (9:30am); Wood Carving (10am); Chair Yoga (12:30pm); and Poker (1pm). Learn more HERE.
- CANS WANTED: Wilmington’s Cub Scout Pack 136 and Boy Scout Troop 136 are currently collecting returnable cans and bottles to help support their Scouting programs. Learn more HERE.
- TEXTILES WANTED: The Wilmington Educational Foundation has partnered with Baystate Textiles to raise funds through an ongoing textile recycling rebate program. Bag up any of your unwanted footwear, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals and place them in the donation boxes located outside each of Wilmington’s public schools. Donations can be in any condition as long as they’re clean and dry. The Wilmington Educational Foundation will receive a rebate of $100 for every ton of textiles collected. WEF earns thousands of dollars each year from this fundraiser.
