TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Two-Way Traffic Resumes On Woburn Street Over 1-93 Beginning At 3PM On November 26

Below is a press release from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation:

WILMINGTON, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing the resumption of two-way traffic on Woburn Street over I-93 beginning on Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. This change will enable safe travel and facilitate snow removal operations throughout the winter.

Vehicles traveling on Woburn Street will encounter a temporary traffic signal on flash mode while the bridge is open to two-way traffic through the work area.

Work will continue in the spring of 2025 on the bridge rehabilitation and preservation project currently underway. This will include the removal of pavement and subsequent concrete deck repairs as needed, along with the installation of new bridge pavement, bridge joints, and sidewalk repairs.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
