THIS WEEKEND: Wilmington High School Presents ‘SIX: Teen Edition’ Musical, November 21-November 23

Below is a press release from Wilmington High School’s Lamplighters Drama Guild:

WILMINGTON, MA —  Wilmington High School’s Lamplighters Drama Guild is excited to announce its upcoming production of ‘SIX: Teen Edition’. This exhilarating show will be performed from November 21, 2024 to November 23, 2024 at the WHS Joanne M. Benton Auditorium.

‘SIX’ is a modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of England’s King Henry VIII, told through a vibrant concert-style format. Each queen takes the stage to tell her unique story, exploring themes of resilience, individuality, and sisterhood.

The show’s creators, Toby Moss and Lucy Marlow, took inspiration for the queens from iconic current pop artists including Beyoncé, Adele, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and Alicia Keys. This teen edition adapts the show for high school performers, making it accessible for younger audiences while retaining the energy, charisma, and message of female empowerment for which the original production is known.

Please join us on this remarkable journey through history as the six queens take the stage to reclaim their narratives. Tickets are available now (see below). Don’t miss your chance to experience this unforgettable musical event!
