Ride LRTA Buses FOR FREE From December 1 Through September 30

Below is an announcement from the Lowell Regional Transit Authority: 

LOWELL, MA — The Lowell Regional Transit Authority is launching a FARE FREE Pilot Program starting December 1, running through September 30, 2025. This means fare-free rides on all LRTA buses for nearly a year.

Take advantage of this opportunity to save on transit costs for travel around the region.

The LRTA’s Route 12 bus travels from Lowell (Kennedy Center), through Tewksbury (Route 38) into Wilmington (Wilmington Train Station). The bus runs every hour. See the route HERE.
